Pupils from Romania went to florist's shop
It was impressive, flowers in all colours everywhere: roses, carnations and fressia. Florist showed pupils how to plant, water and take care of flowers.
The Biology teacher explained to us the different names and uses of flowers .
It was so lovely to meet the charming owner , too, who was delighted to answer our questions and made some floral arrangements for us.

Lesson about time - Greece
By visiting the shop of Mr Takis Filosoglou in Veria , pupils learned many things about clocks and saw different types of clocks and watches . They also watched him while at work.
The oldest types of clocks are the sundial and the ancient Greek water clock (clepsydra is the Greek work)
They also learned about a very old clock tower in their town that doesn`t exist any longer.
It gave its name to a famous square , the “ clock square” of Veria
